Slag Pot?

'Slag' means the fused material formed during the smelting or refining of metals by combining the flux with gangue, impurities in the metal. ‘Slag pot’ is a metal ladle for collecting molten slag flowing from the taphole of a smelting furnace during smelting. Since a slag pot is used in the high temperature, it must be periodically replaced after being used for a certain time. The form of a slag pot may be various for its purpose of use or process.
